I have always been quite a healthy eater, always have vegetables and salads daily with meals and unfortunately both these things have become the food that sets off my nausea!! I can't stand the sight of them. made a big bowl of spring greens last week and the sight and smell of them just made me want to run to the bathroom.

anyone else had this experience with veg?
i'm nearly 12 weeks now and fingers crossed nausea seems to have gone but I still feel ill thinking of vegetables.

I also seem to always be hungry but when it comes to eating it's 2 mouthfuls and I can't eat any more. little and often is the way forward!!

Dont worry, your love of veg will return. I was a bit like that to begin with, the only thing that I was really ok with eating was potatoes. I really craved carbs and again little and often. I also found eating veg in a sauce a little better than just on their own. So I'd make a cheese bake or something similar or add loads to a homemade pasta sauce.
xx

I admit I have to force down my veg these days, my bub is a carb fiend

I am still enjoying salad and some fruits though so I still make sure I get my 5 a day!

xxxxxxxx

I couldn't eat much of anything in Tri 1, but I still find that I avoid the foods that set me off, but reckon it's just in my head!!
I'm sure you will love them again!!
Mmmmm, mixed veg with lots of gravy!!! :D

Since Monday I'm struggling to eat anything.
Not too bad but as soon as I think of food or try to eat I almost throw up, :(

I went off curry with my 1st (major problem, mine and hubby's favourite), but I'm totally back eating it, and so far so good with this one...!!

I went off everything healthy in Tri 1 and just wanted toast & sweets.
Tri 2 & 3 I've been ok eating normally but had the problem of not fancying anything so I just cook what OH feels like and eat even though I don't feel like it. It's very odd as I love food & cooking but at least Im managing to eat healthily again.
I wouldn't worry to much about it in Tri 1 as long as you can keep some food down your doing well and it doesn't matter what it is!

I was the other way round, I couldn't stomach meat, especially pork/bacon/ham. I was living on vegetarian food. My MS went away about 11 weeks, and after about another week or so I was back eating everything.

Don't worry, I'm sure your love of veg will come back.
