Wierd Arm

I've got a bit of a wierd feeling arm, has been like this for a couple of days now.

It feels kinda achey but numb type feeling. Sort of like a dead arm, but not completely just feels heavier and uncomfortable around my shoulder area on the left one only. It's in the daytime mostly, as i've read about people waking with dead arms at night but it's not affecting my sleep, just feels wierd all day!

Any ideas?

i have had this also!
mine affects my hands and wrists mostly and its usually when im in bed on a night i get it,it keeps me awake and annoys me!
i have googled this and mentioned it to my MW today at my 28 week appt,she said its carpal tunnel syndrome?
and its quite common,she put it down to the swelling you get when your'e pregnant??

I spent friday in hospital because of this, they checked baby first to rule out any connection and he is fine so not too worried about that. It is in my left arm and they were of the thought it could be a clot but all the test indicated it isnt that either so have put me down to being a mystery but so long as it isnt anything to do with baby i can live with it for now.
