Why the AF cramps? **UPDATED**

We'd BD'd yesterday morn & this morn and both times after I ahd a feeling like AF cramps . It only last a couple of mins but I've never had that before. Any ideas ladies? I'm about 8DPO.

hmm...uterus muscle spasms..arent they fun?..lol..they just happen sometimes, ive heard of them quite a bit....like for instance my oldest sister had surgery for endemetriosis and she gets them, but perfectly healthy women can get them too...even orgasms can cause them

Any pain after sex should really be checked out, just to be on the safe side! It happens sometimes but if its started happening everytime then i'd suggest a quick trip to your docs to get it checked out.

Dont want to worry you hun but its always best to er on the side of caution with these things and none of us here are doctors

Thanks guys. I think it may be just that I'm due AF on Saturday as I have been getting dull cramps on and off all day.

I used to get AF type cramps if we had sex while I was pg. It frightened the life out of me, particularly as I had pinkish loss at a couple of times in the first tri. But I didn't really have to worry about it after that, because my sex drive all but disappeared at around 16 or 17 weeks and I didn't get it back till baby was at least 3 months old! At that point I was so nervous, you'd think it was my first time all over again!

Well last night after we BD'd there was blood. It looked more than it actually was but it went on the bed and had to have a shower . Thought that it was AF but today nothing but a bit of brown staining in my knickers. I don't know if it's just AF on her way or whether the probs with my cervix I had last year is back. ( I had to have a bit of my cervix frozen last year( you know the kind of thing they do with a verruca?) because I kept bleeding after sex. If it happens again after AF I'll go to the doc's and see what he thinks. I hope it's just AF cause I don't want anything stopping us TTC

I hope it's not anything too, because as you said you don't want anything to stop you from
tcc, only you know your body if you think for one second that it maybe anything to be worried about i'm sure you
will go straight to the dr's. But i'm sure everything will be fine try not to worry
too much.

I think it may have just been AF on her way as since then I've had brown spotting and this morning have the very familiar cramps of the witch so no doubt she'll be here full force sometime today.
