....you buy your cats cat nests and beds and blankets and they wont use them...

but you buy a moses basket... a rocker.... a cot......car seat etc and they wont stay out of them :l

Reverse psychology. Scold it for going in its own bed and keep taking it out, she'll soon be in it all the time (The reverse is for dogs, they like praise)

When we set the moses basket up the other day, 2 of the cats were not bothered but one of them, the old, nosey one, Marmi would not leave it alone!

We have got a lock on our door now and she isnt allowed in the room anymore. There is no way im risking letting her in as soon there will be our baby in that basket and im not taking ANY chances, I love animals but you can never trust them!

they think they ARE our babies that is why :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I started to sort out some things over the last couple of days and put the car seat and moses basket out - I then went downstairs and made lunch only to find on my return that 2 of my cats were curled up asleep in the moses basket and the kitten was asleep in the car seat............

they looked so cute but I did turf them out and gave them a good talking too..... I tried to explain that there will soon be a new baby on the block and that really they shoud be asleep in one of the many cat baskets we have dotted around the house........... not sure they understood because 2 minutes later all 3 were curled up under the duvet on our bed..............

You people should be careful. My sister had to get rid of her cat when she had my twin nephews. They loved it to bits but it was getting dangerous to have it near the babies.

Haha Raegan wants to be in my bed all the time im teaching her to stay on her blanket i got her shes learing because cats and babies can be very dangerous

Yeah exactly, thats why we have had a lock on the door!

You can never be too careful, cats love the warmth of babies and are inclined to smother them
