This is just a rant really but I'm so frustrated with my body at the mo! Last cycle I ovulated around CD18-19, was testing with OPK, monitoring CM and then AF came 12 days later which would make it pretty accurate.

This cycle I took 150g soy on CD3-7 so I thought I might ov a bit earlier but I'm CD18 and still only a faint line on OPK which I've had for the past 5 days!

I know my PCOS means this might be a longer cycle but I thought the soy would help that. It's so annoying, feel like I've got no control over what's happening!

Hiya, I feel your pain. I'm CD32 and I don't think I've ovd yet either. I thought I might have done last week but now I don't think I did as I usually get sore breasts if I do ov.

I have pcos too, I tried soy last year for 4 cycles and I don't really think it did anything for me. One of the cycles I did ov on but I think that was coincidence rather than the soy. After that I did 6 months of agnus castus, that seemed to work better as it shortened my cycles (for the first 4 months, then it seemed to stop working and my cycles went long again). Want to get this cycle over with as I can start clomid next cycle, hopefully that will do something for me! Are you taking anything else for your pcos? Like supplements etc?

Thanks, I've heard of Angus castus might try that next cycle. The only other thing I'm taking is pregnacare. You have had it much harder than me, we haven't been trying that long. Hope you get a sticky bean soon x

How long have you been trying? I'm also taking inositol, milk thistle and saw palmento. Cinnamon is also supposed to be good for pcos. I've been taking those for over a year now and I think they help a bit, I sleep better now and lose less hair. I also eat low GI. I found that I needed to eat more fat too, which sounds daft but I was having quite a low fat diet but since swapping to higher fat I've lost weight without trying.

We've only been trying since May, wow that's a lot of things- might need to up my TTC game! Hubby doesn't want me to get hung up on it but I need to feel like I'm trying my best and then at least I know we've done everything we can!

I know what you mean. We started out with a more relaxed approach but time is slipping away from us now so we are now going all out for that positive. I never thought we would get pregnant first try but I did think it would happen within a year or two. My husband is really worried about being an older dad now, I've got to get pregnant before June for us to have a baby before he is 40. Hope it happens sooner than that! Ideally we wanted more than one child, that is now looking increasingly unlikely and you have to wonder if you will even get the one.

Yeah there's just so much pressure sometimes! Just tested again and still only a faint line at CD19

Woo hoo finally got a positive on CD22- gonna text DH to see if he can come home to BD
