two of my friends have told me not to buy a maternity wedding dress in case I loose the baby  I felt really upset that they said this

That is completely thoughtless and tactless...

Don't give their words any thought... ignore their immaturity.

ah hunny

maybe wait until you are 3 months then order it?

I cant wait to see ya dress

That's so rude! I had some problems with my sister a few weeks back making similar idiotic remarks (she asked me if I'd come on yet, despite knowing I was pregnant).

Frankly with a remark like that I'd have been tempted to suggest that it was more likely they'd lose my friendship than I'd lose the baby. Try to ignore them. They're just jealous, I'm sure.

:x

How tactless.
I can see there point, but there is a much MUCH nicer way of saying things

grrr how bloody insensitive, as if you dont have enough to worry about

they were very tactless and insensitive how they sed it but im sure they meant well. i personally dont believe in tempting fate and i bought baby things before i was 12 weeks so if you want to hun then go for it. my motto is to always remain positive and buying things for baby or maternity means you are being very positive so go for it.

xxxx

aww i know, its horrible, my sister said almost the same thing to me but about baby clothes it upsets u doesnt it.

i miscarried in april and one of my friends was pregnant at the same time, but she didnt want it. straight after i told her i lost mine she told me she was gona keep hers now, i was sobbing for an hour after that, OH came in and thought i was having a nervous breakdown lol!

In my mind i just felt like it was completely unfair for her baby to be fit and healthy when she didnt want it, and i wanted mine but lost it
