Who's still ttc?

Yeah I have looked at the ovulation calenders which is a bit pointless seen as though my cycles are different lengths d'oh! Just don't know whether I want to go down the route of temping and stuff, worried it would take the fun out of it. As for cm, cp and all the rest I wouldn't have a clue were to start, when I had my little boy it just happened, didn't have symptoms or anything, having loads now that i'm not pregnant though!

I thought that temping would take the fun out of it but it doe's not it's making me understand my body more(strange to explain).

It doe's not bother oh me temping. He asks me every morning if i've done my temp. It was actually oh that found this forum and registered but i have now nicked his profile. :)

Hi AJ, I've started temping this month and i find it really helps to understand what going inside too, my oh likes to look at the way the chart is going!! :D

Hello!

I'm still here and no BFP for us yet

I am more of a lurker these days - find the forum very hard when want a baby so badly. I am sure everyone understands..............

But not giving up or leaving before I get the damned BFP! :shakehead:

So what is the story with the temping, how does it actually work? (sorry for being stoopid) would it help me to determine when ov occurs?

your temp goes up by about .30 of a degree the day after you have ov and stays up until you get AF or continues to stay up if you are pregnant, this is due to the progesteron levels, and the opk tells you 12-36 hours before you ov and the temping tells you the day after, they are good to use together.

Hope that helps fifi

:D

It does sound a bit complicated but I suppose you just get used to it and what you are looking for. Maybe I should consider it for next month, already given up this month as I have no symptoms whatsoever.

Alicebabe....I can understand why you feel like that. This forum is great but it does make it harder to stop thinking about ttc.

fifi...I was the same when I had James, I was about 11 weeks when I found out cos I started puking, not a clue before then. Now I seem to have every symptom in the book each month but no BFP!

temping is really easy, you just make sure you take the temp before you get out of bed, but as soon as you wake, then note it on the chart, the only thing is its so borning waiting to see the pattern!"!! :wall:

I know it is so annoying isn't it, all these fake symptoms to torture you for 2 weeks then followed by af. Actually due to lack of symptoms this month, I kinda wish I had some fake ones rather than none at all. :?

I'm gonna wait a few months before temping. I'm useless in the mornings and I'd probably forget. I'm struggling remembering to take the folic acid!

Blimey! Last time I missed my period, took a test (only pee'd on one stick) and 9 months later had a baby. There is so much to do and think about, I am a lot healthier now than I was then, I don't smoke, drink moderately and have a healthier diet. Haven't started taking any supplements yet either, oops!

my first two were surprises so this time round planning ti is very new, definatelt learnt alot about the reproductive stuff though!!!

 I'm still here, 10 months now :(

Still trying to stay positive though :)

Jx
