I CANNOT belive it. My partner has been diagnosed as having Whooping cough, Pnuemonia or Trachea Bronchitus.
Well caitlyn has had a cough for the last 12 weeks which the docs kept fobbing me off with, oh its a viral infection. Turns out they now actually think she has whooping cough also. Its apparently the disease of 100 nights, shes had it for about 80 days, so if she stops coughin within 4 weeks then we can safely say it was whooping cough, if she is still coughing after 4 weeks then they will refer her to the chest clinic.
They cant give her anything for it as she isnt infectious anymore, just have to ride it out, altho my partner is on quite a large dose of steriods each morning now as he is quite bad, Hes had it for 6 weeks
