Which would you rather do?

I'm wondering which will be worse. Giving birth or root canal at the dentist???

Got to give birth in August then have root canal in September .

At least I'll have a baby after giving birth. Nothing to show for having root canal.

I've never had either of those done yet but I have had my wisdom teeth out and that was sooo painful - I'm glad I don't have to go through that again

So in that case, I'm voting give birth (seeing as I have to anyway )

I do pity you having to do both though, couldn't you invite your dentist along to the birth so you can have both done at once? At least it would be all over in one go then

I could get both ends of my body numbed at the same time .

Baby is due on 22nd Aug and dentist 22nd of Sept .

I would definatly prefer to give birth, without a doubt! I have a phobia of the dentist. Giving birth is much better

Ive been through both, and would much rather give birth again. Root canals are evil!

Oh Hazel! You poor thing! At least they're only 4 weeks apart from each other, so in the space of a month you'll have had both, then you have 11 months pain free! xx

You've actually all made me feel much better about giving birth as I've had root canal before and lived to tell the tale.

geez its so weird you posted this. I got an abscess in my tooth 2 weeks ago, and OMG i would rather give birth 5 times over than go through it again. My whole face swolled up huge.
The root canal treatment however....well, it took them an hour to numb me, which was hell! and my face hurt so bad with the numbness. And they got all the way to the canal, and found out that my root canal is a ribbon shape and were unable to finish it AAARRRHHH!! im so mad at the moment.
Im off to a specialist thursday, and ive been in agony for ages.

Im looking forward to root canal, and birth at this point!
