hi guys anyone recommend any? so much choice and wings/no wings? went shopping today and literally couldn't decide so came away with none ha ha. still got plenty time though. how many should I get like 3 packs?

I bought tesco own. Thibk they only do one type they have wings. There a pound a pack. I had about 10 packs in the end lol. Just used to put one in with every shop. My baby is 7 weeks now an I still use them. Normal pads can irritate so in my opinion you can never have to many !! X

I find the tesco ones are good Too as I've had extra cm so I've popped one on when I've felt a bit damp and they are pretty good. Xx

I got little angels pads the thick 1s with no wings and wore them in hosp while but when I went I to asda other day they only had the thinner 1s with wings which seem to work just fine xx

Tescos ones for a pound for 10 no wings tho I hate wings used a few packs last time so have packed one in my hospital bag n then one in spare bag in car n one more pack at home. Hubby or mum/sis can always get me sum more if needed n I do have three packs of always pads as well as one pack of slimmer maternity ones fir when the bleeding slows down.

In hospital I had disposable pants n the big pads on for first 24hrs n got through 3/4 pants n my whole pack of pads.

I got asda little angel ones. Worked grand for me last time so il use them again this time. I never knew you could even get ones with wings haha! Xx

Asda little Angels are fab'! Used last time and got a load in this time - I also used sainsburys and tesco aswell when little angels ran out ( I had episiotomy foreceps so got through 1 every 2 hours to ensure hygiene )

My advice - you'll need way more than 3 packs! Id go with maybe 6-8 packs? For what they cost ( a quid )

Tesco do a thin maternity pad aswell for when bleeding is tailing off

Don't biy sanitary towels though- they are not the same and arnt designed for child birth

I wouldn't worry about wings- the pad won't ho anywhere just make sure you have big comfy pants

Asda baby event starts online Friday. In store few days after FYI x

I wouldn't get the ones with wings because I found the side of the wings catch on my stitches. I've used Tesco, Sainsburys and Boots and they're all pretty much the same xx

Asda ones for me. A little tip, buy the thick and thin ones and witch hazel. Put witch hazel in fridge, pour on thin pad, put thin pad on top of thick pad and wear. Witch hazel is amazing for your bits!

I'm a FTM but I got the Tesco ones as recommended by a few of my Mummy friends :) xxxx

I used little angel ones for the first few days with some cream and some baths in TCP. After a couple of days I switched to regular big sanitary towels ones because I couldnt stand walking about with a giant nappy like thing on, I just hate them. Imo they feel worse than having the cheapeast pad on

Never leaked through once, never caught on my stitches once, and I healed and had stopped bleeding in 3 weeks.

I had 3 packs for the hospital alone, then I went through another 1 at home then switched to regular and it tapered off after that.

xxxx
