Where should we go on holiday??

Trying to book something for last week in Aug and first wk in Sept. It's really difficult!! It will be our first 'family' holiday and Jenna will be 9 months old. We definitely want somewhere warm, with a pool and walking distance to the beach. Somewhere with a creche during the day would be great and wld give OH and me some time to chill out on our own, do some sailing / scuba diving etc. We definitely need somewhere with 2 bedrooms or somewhere with a lounge, so Jenna can still go to bed in the dark and we can sit in the lounge and chill out. We stayed in Dublin in a hotel for a few nights in May and it was awful - once Jenna went to bed (at 7pm) there was nothing for us to do apart from sit in the dark!!

So, would love to hear where you guys have been on holiday with little ones similar age to Jenna, and whether you wld recommend it or not.

Oh, budget is flexible but ideally around £1,500 as we have just bought a new house so dont have pots of money at the moment

Im quite a big fan of the algarve and its only a few hours on a plane.

There was a lady who recently came back from her hols on here Sage i think but she was saying how good her hotel was will see if i can find the thread.
