I'm over 13 weeks now (according to my scan) and i still don't 'feel' pregnant. Obviously seeing bubs wrigging around inside my tummy kinda confirmed everything lol, but throughout my whole pregnancy so far i haven't really felt that different. I've been very tired but no sickness, no sore boobs really and generally able to carry on as usual. I haven't felt baby move yet which i know is quite normal for this early on but i wish i could 'feel' a little more pregnant (not that i'm praying for sickness or anything, that would be silly lol).

Did anyone else feel like this in the early stages of pregnancy? And when do you usually start to feel baby move? xxxxx

I def still feel like that Hun! Starting to think it won't feel real until little one is here! Xx

I felt like this through tri 1, it was more that I was going through a niggling little illness than being pregnant. Even my early scan didn't really make it seem that real....kept expecting the sonographer to laugh in my face and shout Ha! Fooled ya!!!!

The one thing that makes it real for me is I am feeling so protective, it's very bizarre. I've felt a few nudges and heard the heartbeat but I still can't imagine me bringing home my little monster from the labour ward. Saying that though, when I was shopping in Mothercare the other day it kind of hit me like a brick, I've only ever bought clothes for other people's babies and taking them home with me and hanging them in my own wardrobe seemed amazing to me.

Something little will happen that will make it real. It will probably be the tiniest little thing, your heart will fall out of your bum because of it and you may shed a tear or two thousand, but it will happen hunny xxxxxxxxxxxx

When I saw my LO on my 18 weeks scan and got to know that it was a girl, it felt real! We could see how much she had developed since the last scan (12 weeks) and I thought; there's actually a little girl growing inside me! Don't worry, it will feel real soon! Just be patient!!!

:hugs:

15 weeks today and feel exactly the same!! Not even any bump to speak of. But am hoping the 20 week scan and movements will help it all kick in for real...

I did up until 15/16 weeks. But i do get the odd day even now where i forget i am preggers lol!xx

I still dont think its really at 21 weeks thats with the baby moving. I sit looking at the scan pictures and reality still hasn't set in.

Think it might do once I get bigger and there are bigger kicks coming

Thanks ladies, glad i'm not the only one! I think it's because i still look/feel normal. I'd love to have a little camera inside my tummy so i could see what's happening daily. Big Brother for the womb! It's frustrating not knowing what's going on in there though. Still awaiting the results from my nuchal screening too so i think overall i'm just a little impatient and anxious at the moment xxxx

hey hun!

i started to feel my baby boy move at 16 + 3 but i think it differs from woman to woman because this is my first i was surprised i could feel it so soon! by the time u get to around the 16 week mark (or maybe a little later) it'll feel like butterflies/ bubbling in your stomach, at first i thought it was my stomach rumbling but then you soon realize it's your baby moving i feel him about 2-3 times a day, the baby book in which the sonographer gave me at 12 week scan said by 18 weeks you should start to feel the baby properly kick, just enjoy your pregnancy while it's here!!

i am also wondering about when i will feel real kicks etc, but lotsa girls have said to me- the first few months you want to look pregnant and then when u actually do, that part drags on and you feel uncomfortable, heavy and squashed inside, so make the most of the early stages! my sister couldnt wait to get her boy out in last couple months as he constantly felt like his head was between her legs when she walked and she worked on a shop floor!

gues what im trying to say is, it will happen, but just enjoy feelin normal for a bit longer lol
