When to stop scattering cushions in case she falls?

Poppy sits unsupported very well now, and will stay sitting up for long periods of time. But every now and then, she decides to throw herself backwards. I keep cushions around her so that she doesn't bump her head, but they frustrate her because she can't reach for things as easy. At what point did you start taking the cushions away? She rarely actually loses balance - if she falls it's because SHE has decided she doesn't want to sit up anymore and the only way she knows how to lie down is by throwing herself backwards!

Holly sits up lovely and then out of the blue decides to throw herself in some random direction - after weighing up brain damage verses cushions all over I've opted for cushions - trouble is she can now throw herself in the direction of the only space that has no cushions in it! think we will still use them for quite a while!

Once Savannah started crawling there wasn't much point because she topples everywhere anyway.

She's like a cannon at the moment she just goes everywhere
