When to pack your hospital bag

With my first I was packed and ready for 30w only to go overdue 14 days.

Second time I did it alot later. Infact OH was still getting bits together when I was in the bath about 5cm into labour only little things. All the essentials were in just before I was due.

I went in with alot less second time and still had too much. Although you never can plan for what you will need and what you'll actually use. My first was so fast labour wise I barely touched my bag (only my sweets lol). But he did use all the clothes as we were in for a full day after he was born. Second time I used alot of my things I planned to during labor (even my flannel) and didn't need as much clothes as we were out 6hr after birth.

Don't worry about having too much, my hospital have luggage trollies like the airport and provide someone to push it for you so they obviously have a lot of people bring a lot of stuff!

I had a small case with my things in, my changing bag with babies things, a carrier with food in, my husbands bag plusi had a carrier that I started with as I wasn't expecting to be admitted.

With my first I did while in labour! Second maybe around 38 weeks? This time I'll do around 38 weeks maybe slightly earlier as we now live 50 mins from hospital and being third it could all happen fast!

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow with my first and I haven't packed mine yet!
Planning on having it done by the time I'm 36 weeks though just in case.
