When should i see my gp?

Hi girls, found i am pregnant today. Was going to ring GP tomo to get appt, but wondered if its a bit early?
I thought it woulld be better to get it confirmed asap?
Any thoughts? xx

It's up to you hun, there is a good chance the doctor won't do much other than congratulate you lol. First time I went about 4.5 weeks and he told me to book in to see the midwife at 8 weeks and that was pretty much it. Second time I went at 6 weeks and he made me give a sample to confirm it.

My gp didn't do much at all really apart from fax a request for a dating scan, take my blood pressure and general advice on foods to avoid etc. I was a bit disappointed tbh cos I had been really worked up about it and at least expected a wow and a brass band to herald my entrance rofl xxxxxxxx

yeah!!! i know wat you mean baby brain i had a really nice doctor who went throught when to see the midwife and everything (shame he was only a locum!) and then had to wait to see the midwife
