Hi gals,

Sorry if this has been a topic before. Work/life has taken over lately and I haven't been on here much.

So I have been able to feel baby move properly since about week 21/22, I love feeling my Little Sausage kick and now my hubby likes to share in it too - his alarm goes off before mine in the morning so he spends ten mins whilst I'm still half asleep with hand on belly feeling Sausage boogie. Sausage is always active first thing in the morning, especially after my first roll over in bed - but this morning Sausage was going crazy.

There were lots of kicks/hits all over the place it seemed went on for about 5 minutes. I started to worry my little munchkin was having a blooming Fit in there!

Anyone else have times where their bubba just has a little mental dance? I'm trying to pretend that they were just rocking out and head banging or something!

Ive just started to feel proper kicks, and they arent really strong yet, but I know what you mean! I was on the sofa the other night, and baby was wriggling and kicking for about 10 minutes non stop, and felt really active - I also wondered if everything was ok. It subsided after a while, and back to normal movements now so Im sure all is well - I think it just got hyperactive for a bit!

My DD was like that - always seem to be on the move in there! One day I went into the hospital concerned about reduced movements and I was monitored for the day to ensure she was ok. The nurses made me feel really stupid come the end of the day, because even though I thought she wasn't moving much (in comparison to previous weeks), they seemed to think she was bordering hyperactive!
Since that day, I've realised she's as hyperactive as a normal child can be. She won't even sit down to watch tv - she has to be acting out whatever is going on onscreen. She's exhausting, just to watch, but I wouldn't have her any other way!

Sounds like Sausage might be a bit of a live wire :) S/he's probably having a growth spurt or something or has just been really well rested overnight and was letting you know about it, baby's love attention and was probably enjoying your hubby's hand being there.
xx

Thanks guys, is funny how we all need a bit of reassurance now and then!

Prob doesn't help matters that Sausage tends to like lying across belly rather than head down (or at least it feels that way!)

Hey. Mine feels like it's laying crossways too - kicks on top left side and weird scrabbling feelings on the right side of my groin. I think mine's a bit mental too and has some seriously crazy moments, or even stretches lasting 15 minutes or more, where it's just freaking out. Usually when I eat spicy food
xx

God I love when my LO has little raves lol.
I'm feeling it more and more every day now and sometimes it has a mental 10mins and I just sit holding my belly giggling the whole time lol x

My friends asked me to explain it to them - I just can't!!!

Will just have to plan for a baby that is born to be a rock star!

To be honest, mine is very active throughout the day, and doesn't ever seem to stop! I think if I didn't feel peanut kick for an hour I'd be worried! Sometimes I lay there for half an hour and he/she just doesn't stop and sometimes it's really quick kicks in short succession! Very strange! x x

i know the feeling, baby has a right rave in there some mornings and one night before bed it just felt like shakes as if she was having a fit but all is fine xxx

Thanks everyone.
Guess every baby is different - I've decided mine must be a right sleepyhead at times (sometimes won't even move if you give my tummy a proper jiggle), but once awake is a bit mental :)
