Just wondered what your experiences of starting teething were? Holly has got a definite whiteish ridge on her bottom gum that is more obvious than yesterday when it was more of an indent if that makes sense. She is dribbling and has a rash all round her chops so we r assuming this means the first little tooth is starting to make an appearance! How long might it take and when will it start to hurt?

Not all babies suffer when teething my eldest didn't but my middle on really did !! Bless him. Some teeth come through quick and even 2 at a time but again in varies !! So I'm not much help really !! Lol xxx

Phoebe is teething already and is only 11 weeks old, hers are really giving her some jip poor thing :( I've found nelsons powders to be a godsend!!! :) xx

We r hoping it's not a false tooth alert lol. Nice to actually have a real mum say their lo didn't suffer cos i wasn't sure whether to believe the books! How long did the actual teeth take to push through?

From the first sign of dribble and white gums was about a week for Owen. We have two bottoms then two tops and now in waiting for the next two bottoms!( he has white gums now, muchos dribble and has been cranky) I find Owen is very grizzly about 2 days around the time the teeth are breaking through x

Issac has been drooling for about 2weeks but only just started to cry the last couple of days and i can see a white dot... bless him I've used anbesol a couple of times and it seems to help x

Caleb seems to have been teething forever!!! Ever since he was about 2 months old. He started off dribbling loads, then we had a few weeks of screaming, we had to give him calpol and bonjela to calm him down. And still no sign of teeth! 2 months later he's still really gnawing on his hands, but we can't even see a white dot, bless him, think it's going to be a while! xx

My LO didn't show any symptoms before her two bottom teeth came through, they were just there one day! But since then she's been showing teething symptoms on and off for a few weeks and still no more teeth, so looks like every tooth might be different with her at least.
