I'm 12 weeks pregnant and for over a week my morning sickness has

been the worse it has ever been! Some days I can only eat crisps and ice lollies. If I try to eat fruit and veggies I'm violently sick. I'm getting worried as a lot of the info out there states that the sickness should be starting to get better by now.

Was just wondering if other people found that morning sickness was worse at some points than others and whether it tends to tail off or suddenly stop?

Unfortunately everyone is different so there's just no way to know. Hopefully because it's started later for you it will be short lived. Some days I can't eat anything I'm so sick, just try and drink as best you can. You could always give your midwife a ring for some advice xx

My sickness has increased post 11-12 weeks (I'm 14 now). Generally speaking it improves from 12 but this isn't a hard and fast rule and isn't true for everyone. Some women get it their entire pg - though fx this won't be the case for you! Try not to worry though speak to your mw if you're concerned x

Thanks for your advice guys. At least I know I'm not alone! I've already spoken to my gp and midwife but think I will go back if things get worse or don't change in the next few weeks. I hope we all start to feel better soon.
Xx

With my last pregnancy my sickness was actually at its worst in the third trimester. I only had nausea in my first trimester. With this pregnancy I've had less nausea, but have been sick on a few occasions. Hope it eases up for you soon.

I'm 32 weeks and had hyperemesis since 6.5 weeks. Lost 26lbs in 4 weeks and had loads of hospital admissions to put me on drips. It didn't ease until about 27/28 weeks. I still throw up most days.. can't wait until the pregnancy is over.

I had a pretty bad morning sickness when I was about week 7-9 and it ease down a little bit with now still have the nausea feeling at times. I'm 13 weeks and I really hope things will change for a better when I enter 2nd tri next week.

I had sickness throughout (constant) pregnancy with my first. Second pregnancy I had none.

Everyone is different however it is said that by the second trimester your hormones stable out and you'll have less sickness episodes.

Also your more likely to be sick each time you have a hormone influx, there is one around 10w but can't remember after that lol.

Get some anti sickness bands or tabs.

xxxx
