Im soon 32 weeks, the last days i havent felt the baby kicking my rib as much as she used to very happy as it was so uncomfortable! I wonder if the baby maybe sunk down .. when is it normal for the baby to "move down" and get ready for birth if you know what i mean:)

i think it varies from woman to woman. Ive heard it can happen for first time mums from 32 weeks - a little sooner than if you have been pregnant before. However sometimes the babies head doesn't engage until you literally go into labour... or so i've been told by my mw (im no expert this is only my first pregnancy!)

Im 35 weeks and was told at my 34 week appointment that my babies head is not engaged at the moment, however this was to be expected as she is the most wriggly little thing ever and moves whenever anybody touches her!

Ive heard there is alot more pressure down there when the baby has engaged and that you are able to breathe more easily and eat more so keep an eye out for these signs too!

Hope this helps a little.

I got told my babys head is in the right positon but the nurse told me the head sinks into the pelvis around 36 weeks x

Everyone is different, but I think it was around 33-34 weeks with my first and this little one has been head down since at least 20 weeks so it can happen any time I think... Also babies can change all of the time, as long as they're head down by B'day... lol
