When changing milk...

How long does it take to see if itis working or not?
I've changed Jack to Cow & Gate today, was on SMA but ran out he's been puking a lot and was on gaviscon. He's had one bottle of Cow & Gate since finishing off the SMA, I didn't put any Gaviscon in as I want to see if the milk is helping. How long will it take for me to be able to see if its working or not...

They say to give a formula atleast 2 weeks, not sure why though x
