When baby goes above your belly button.

I feel like Iv posted loads of threads today lol
just got loads of questions
Anywa, Its kinda hard to explain.
I think at 20 weeks your baby is up to about your belly button.
When do they start to go past your belly button and is there an average they go up by every week?
If that makes sence?

It goes up by a finger width every week roughly. Don't know what happens by the time it reaches your ribs!!

Pixie's feet are up there now. I've been feeling little flutters there for about two weeks but now it's proper kicks.

The mid wife says Pixie's head is below and to the right of my belly button, bum is just to the left and feet right above. No idea how long we've been in that position though.

That explains why my belly button has popped out in the last week or so then! It's not quite an 'outie' just yet, but it's not shallow anymore lol!

i am exactly the same!! if i push on my belly just the slightest it goes out haha xx

I have a pelvic left kidney so my wee one went above my belly button very early and I have quite a lopsided bump, its quite odd but funny.I have punches just below my belly button and kicks up high on the right
