Hi everyone, I assume you are all as Christmas crazy as me lol I love everything about Christmas  just thought we could share our Christmas schedules

Always on the 1st of December we put the Christmas decorations up
Christmas Eve we take presents to our friends and have tea r go out for a meal, then it's home early, bath and Christmas movie then early to bed for the kids!!!
THEN SANTA COMES :fib:
Christmas Day we always have crumpets in bed (my daughter is diabetic so needs to eat before opening her presents) then my husbands stands in the living room with the video recorder ready as I open the door and the kids run in!!! Priceless!!!!! After opening all the presents we all get ready into our new Christmas clothes and visit my husbands nan (who is 90 ) we meet his other two brothers there too and exchange gifts then off to my mum and dads for Christmas dinner (the works, 3 courses, crackers etc) then we wait for my sister and little boy to arrive and we al, exchange gifts, then it's home time..
Boxing Day, my sister and I take turns to do a buffet, this years it's my sisters turn which is good as I will be over 7 months pregnant then!!!!!

We do:
13th December - the tree & decorations go up (up 12 days before and down 12 days after)
Christmas week - spring clean the house (clear out old shit for new shit coming in)
Christmas Eve - beds changed, last clean. Buffet dinner, bath & new PJ's, watch movies (although this year Santa will need to come :D )
Christmas Day - get up, have coffee while opening pressies, then bagels with scrambled eggs & bacon and Buck's Fizz. Showers & dressed & head to inlaws for 12:30 for more presents before eating about 2pm. Back home for around 6 for movies, cheese & biscuits and other nibbles.
Boxing Day - head over to my parents to meet up with nieces & partners for more food & presents

Depending on what day of the week, usually I head back to work the day after Boxing Day

My DD is also diabetic. She was diagnosed in December last year but used the chocolate santa bought her before eating breakfast :shakehead:

Around 1st December - Decs go up

Xmas Eve:- We go out for a meal early evening. Then the kids come back and get into their brand new Xmas Eve pj's. Then they get a mince pie and milk out for santa and carrots on the doorstep for the raindeer.
Then they all watch tv, chill out. I'm usually still manically wrapping the stockings
Bedtime and once the kids are asleep, I have the heart stopping moment of putting the stockings on the bottom of each bed, praying I don't wake my youngest.

Xmas Morning:- The kids open their stockings at about 7am. Then they come barging into our room to show us what santa bought. Even my 14 yr old does this, despite knowing that I bought them
Then we go downstairs, hubby puts the kettle on and makes himself a cuppa, then we head into the present mountain that is the living room. Cue a few hours of present opening and photo taking. Then it's breakfast. We always have gammon cooked in coke with scrambled eggs, beans and toast, washed down with fresh orange juice.

Xmas Afternoon:- We eat Christmas dinner that I've cooked. Then pud. Then it's veg out for the rest of the evening lol

11 December we putting up tree and everything as the 10th is my neices birthday and we don't want christmas to out shine her birthday.
20th-24th travel up north to see all my family give each other presents then travel back down, once back down here get everything cleaned put presents away hidden from the children. then get the children fed and bathed and ready for bed let them watch in the night garden or if my daughter wants santa claus the movie, then put a carrot out and a glass of milk and mince pie for santa. then put them to bed.
once in bed get all the prep work done for christmas day, presents brought down and sorted out into piles/bags. then us have baths, sit with a drink and watch germlins 1 and 2. then go upstairs and put a present at the end of the bed off santa. then off to bed

christmas day get up make a huge mug of coffee for us both and the childrens breakfasts then bring the kids down get them to eat then take it in turns to open presents until they are all gone. let the kids play with there new toys while we take it in turns to get changed then Oh sort out changing them while i start dinner and tidy up. have dinner then skype my family for an hour each. then ring Oh family to say thanks. tea just a small buffet then off to bed while we find somewhere to put all the new toys. then me and Oh have a few drinks then bed.

Boxing day we will ring my OH son to arrange the next day visit. then off to OH parents for Dinner. x x x

2nd weekend of Dec all up my Mum's to put her tree up
We put our tree up that weekend as well.

Crimbo Eve: OH pop's out for a few pints, I do the last minute tidying with the radio on. I have a bath as soon as it is dark and stick new PJ's on! OH comes home and we have dinner and Baileys

Crimbo day: We get up have tea and stick the radio on. OH makes bacon or sausage sarnies and we open our pressies with the cat. I get into my Christmas dress and head to my parents about 1.30pm. We have dinner about 3pm and then spend the afternoon snacking, drinking, playing whatever silly games my Mum has bought. Last year my sis and bro were at their in-laws but this year they are all at my parents - there'll be 15 of us this year and last year there was only 8! OH has dinner with his family and then pop's up to miy folks for a few drinks. We end the night by walking back round to his parents for an hour or so and then head home.. Luckily we live very close to both our parents.

Boxing day: I don't get dressed. I start cooking party food at lunch time (I buy loads of nibbly bits) and we normally settle down for a film early evening. We snack on all the nibbles and generally just behave like slobs.

This year is going to be a bit different though as we are going to have our baby here. I get excited to the point of tears every time I even think about this Christmas and the fact we'll be sharing it with our newborn boy or girl.

xxxxxxxx

I put the decorations up the first or second weekend in december (it depends when oh can be bothered to get them out of the loft!) on Christmas Day morning we have a small breakfast then my dad and brother come round to exchange gifts, they then go to a family members house for a few days. I cook Christmas dinner for about 1pm then we go over to oh's parents late afternoon for a couple of hours. Then it's back home, put lo to bed and slob out in front of the tv for the night
Boxing Day we slob out some more, I do a buffet for tea which we just pick at for rest of the night!
Next year I think I'll take lo to the panto on Boxing Day! Cant wait!

I was gonna post mine as I'm so excited to do Christmas as a mother for the first time, but my poor oh has just been moved to a different station, his shift pattern has moved and is now working the 6 days running up to Xmas including a night shift on Xmas eve and Xmas day.
This means he will be sleeping in the day too :-(
