Ok, let's see what all the weird and wonderful things people have said to you about your pregnancy!

I'll start with -

"When are you better?"

Apparently this is a traditional saying (although that could be a West Coast of Scotland thing....we are a bit off the wall up here!) for asking a woman when she is due!

Oh, and also today at Paisley hospital (I work in the Ambulance Service), where the police presence is quite astounding, (understandably!) I noticed a policeman staring at my bump. I caught his eye and said "Honest officer it's a baby!" he burst out laughing and said "I was just wondering!" Hahahaha I was waiting for a strip search for bombs!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think I might have only got away with it because I was in uniform! People are a bit oversensitive at the mo.....and I could have quite easily ended up in trouble!!

I'm 22 weeks and last week a woman asked when I was due, I said 18 weeks and she said 'My god, you MUST be having twins the size of you!'... yet everyone else says I'm very neat. It was her face though.

Yep, I get this all the time, "It must be twins" to "Are you sure they have your dates right?" to "Your PREGNANT?!?!?!" and "Where are you hiding it?" or "You're lovely and neat"

I think they just try to confuse us poor already confused pregnant people!

My OH asked if the baby would come out obese coz I eat too much cheese

I told everyone he said that and they all told him off!!! He felt so stupid!!!

Last year my neighbour asked when I was due, and also at my FIL funeral, all my hubby's family were congratulating me. I knew that I had put on some weight after getting married but I never reolise how much. My answer to them was I'm just getting fat. They didn't know where to look. xx I think that's why my inlaws haven't mentioned my weight gain or body shape just yet. xx

Someone asked when I was due a month after I'd given birth

Thought of another one -

My Ex and I were discussing names and I said "I like Freya for a girl...it's Nordic"

He looked horrified and said "Who the hell do you know called Nordic!?!?!"

Can you see why he is my Ex?!?!

My husband, bless him, asked if I can get pregnant again just now. I was kidding him on saying 'of course I can, they just queue in behind each other'... he was like 'wow really?!'.

I think his mother should have taught him the birds n the bees better :rotfl:

OMG, that's bad :rotfl:

My hubby thought that twins were conceived by having sex twice in a row really fast

You should go get it and you can sit and laugh at yourself all day CalamityGem :rotfl:
