What's the latest the egg can implant?

Can it implant as late as 14dpo? What makes it take longer for some people?

Well I think it can. I had a couple of spots on Saturday and tested on Sunday - spotting must have been implantation as I got BFP. Bit of a shock but it can happen late.

I've seen it reported as late as 14 days but it's on the outside of the norm, just as early implantation is. I imagine it's a hormonal thing why it takes longer in some people.
