whats the difference between 10 MIU AND 20 MIU pregnancy tests??

i just looked at mine and they are 10s ????? what does that mean compared

to say a 20???

ive tried looking on google but none made sense

hi im sure its the sensitivity of how much hormone they detect in your wee! so i guess the 10 ones are the most sensitive?

yeah thats basically what I thought as well and then on another site it said that the 20s were more sensitive

im just wondering whens best after ov to test with a 10?? does anyone know???

i think the ones i have off ebay are 10 ones,i tested about 6-7 days before af was due (i think!) and got a BFN,waited til the day i was due,missed so took asda test first (think this was a 25 one) and 2 ebay cheapies and got my BFP,the lines on the ebay ones though (if that is what you have) are very feint to start with.

So which tests to you girls recommend? I dont really want to pay out on the expensive ones if a cheaper one (tescos,boots own brand) is just as good.

mines just ebay cheapie ones this time like so a guess al just have to wait and see, ive tested (i know im early) and got a BFN...

I think im roughly testing about the same time in my cycle as when u were getting your bfn (if that makes sence) as well claire!! there is hope for me yet!!!

my af is due next week so I havent long to wait but it feels like ages away...ive tested three times with the ebay cheapies and got BFN each time... its not over till the fat lady sings tho

Jadey ive just bought some cheap ones on ebay so that i can poas i was buying asda's own b4 that but bought this lot of ebay, I got summit like 15 ov tests and 10 preg tests for under a £5 delivered.... if I get a BFP on one of them then I have a digital in the wardrobe to confirm it!!!

The 10 MIu ones are much more sensitive!! You can use them much earlier than you can a 20Miu one (not that Im trying to tempt you into early testing ).

I got my BFP on a 10 MIu test at only 8dpo........ yes like most of you was a closet early tester!!

With DD I got my BFP at 12 DPO with an ebay cheapie and it was really strong and I've still got it in my diary!! and you can still see the lines clear as day 18mths on!!!

Id say POAS but dont be too disappointed if it hasnt come up, I thought it would be negative and get any idea of being pregnant out of my head but it obviously didnt.
