Hi ladies i found out i was pregnant last week, i'm about 4weeks +6 and today i started bleeding. I went to the doctors and they said there isnt alot they can do, i'm not in any pain but the blood is very red and id say quite heavy when i wipe (sorry if tmi). The doctor rang epu and they said as i'm not in any pain to go home and rest and re-test monday, if it still says pregnant then go back to the docs and get them to refer me for bloods and a scan at 6 weeks. Obviously if anything changes between now and then to go back to the doctors. Has anyone else been in the same situation as me? I'm really worried and hope everythings ok but i cant help but be scared especially as i'm so early.xx

Hi hun, so sorry you are going through this. Hopefully this will just be a bleed which doesnt mean anything, but like the doctor said unfortunately there isnt much that can be done and you will need to sit tight until you can get it all checked out. There is a chance you could be experiencing a chemical pregnancy. Where you get your positive test but begin your period a short time later. Is the blood like a period or is it spotting? I had a chemical pregnancy in april, it was just like a period just late. I hope this isnt what is happening with you but it is a possibility. Just keep calm, try to relax and retest when the doctor advised and hopefully you will still get a bfp and its nothing to worry about. I am wishing you all the best and sending positive thoughts your way xx

I'm going through this now, I got my BFP on Thursday and woke up to bleeding but now my bleeding is over my tests are even stronger! So I'm booked in for a 6 week scan on the 28th. Fingers crossed for us both x

Oh thats made me feel so much better just dont want to get me hopes up. sorry to ask such a personal question but was it very red or just barely there spotting?xx

Very red my heart sank when I saw it. But I got a 1-2 on a digi the evening after it stopped so fingers crossed xx

Like the doc said as long as your not in pain it could just be a late bleed from baby settling down.

With both my MCs I was in agony as well as heavy blood and screamed the hospital down.

Many ladies bleed during pregnancy around the time there periods are due.

Just make a record of it, how much and how long it lasts and if any clots or not. Then test again once fiished. Hopefully the line will be stronger or the same :)

With my LO I had quite a heavy bleed at around 4 weeks pregnant. There were clots and everything. The dr told me it was a miscarriage. They sent me to EPU the following week when I still had strong positive hpts. They saw a sac at that scan. I had another bleed at 6 weeks with LO and they sent me for another scan where I saw heartbeat. All was well with her! :)

xx

I had an very heavy bleed at 6+2 with large clots. I went straight to A&E, they scanned me and everything was fine. They could see alot of blood but it wasnt affecting the baby. I went back 2 weeks later for another scan and baby is growing fine! :D The bleeding is still there but its below the baby so should be fine. I didnt have any pain when I had my bleeding which was a good sign.
FX for you but I'm sure everything will be great :)

Hi ladies thanks for all your replys i did start to get a bit worried yesterday as i started to have some big clots but i'm trying to stay positive, today though i started to feel sick so i'm hoping thats a good sign. Its still happening today but seems to be slowing down Monday seems like a lifetime away.xx

Hi ladies, I decided I didn't want to wait the extra day as the spare test I had was calling my name. Sadly this time it wasn't meant to be, I started having light cramps on saturday and the bleeding was heavier (sorry tmi) so I knew what was happening after the last time.

It hit me harder than expected but i've got a lovely soon to be hubby and my beautiful little boy that just keep making me smile. We are going to try again as we have both said we think our little boy will be a fantastic big brother. For now though I'm concentrating on our wedding so we are going to be ntnp for the next month or so.

I'm sending all you ladies lots of baby dust and hope you all have a fantastic fathers day (bet your OH's can't wait till next year). I'm sure I'll be back in Tri 1 again soon. Thank you again for all of your advice!!xxxx
