what to wear for labour?

Just getting things for hospital bag and thinking what to wear for labour. Not sure what pj's to buy. If I need short sleeve as I may get too hot or long sleeve as I may get too cold lol. any sugestions?

I'm taking one of each but the mw did say that many women end up naked cos they get so hot....I don't have any self respect nor dignity anyway so I might well be one of them lol xxxxxxxxx

It's completely upto you, whatever you think you'll be more comfortable in. I took some pajama bottoms with a matching short sleeved top and a couple of nighties (all dark coloured).
I wore a nightie during the beginning of my induction, then in the morning I got changed into my pajama bottoms and kept nightie on for my top half. Then when my labour came on I took all my clothes off as I got too hot!

I wore a shortish nightie. I was hot and had a cold flannel on my forehead in labour but didn't feel the need to take nightie off. I chose a dark one as I knew that baby would go on me straight after and all the baby stuff wouldn't show up on a black one! I wouldn't have cared but thought it might be nicer for OH! I had a longer nightie with buttons down front for the over night stay in hospital. Maternity wards are generally very warm so choose something light weight. Xx
