What time of day did you get married?

We got married at 10am and by the time the ceremony was over and we had photo's it was then a drive back to where we had the sit down meal and after that there was a break inbetween where people went off and done there own thing before the evening reception started at 7pm it all worked out perfectly for us. :)

We also had the choice of 11 or 3 and went for 11. By the time we have had the service and then photos and people have got to the reception venue there will only be about an hour before the meal so people can mingle for a bit and have drinks if they like. Also, there are about 25 children going to be there so it gives them a bit of time to run off some energy before having to sit down again.

Like you I wanted to make a day of it - whenever I have gone to weddings it is always nice to have a bit of time to catch up with friends and family who you don't get to see very often.
