Hiya

It seems that most people's labours start in the night but I wondered if that's true.

Mine kicked off at around 11pm - not sure if the same will happen with second pregnancy though - it would be nice if it happened in the day so I'm not so knackered!

My waters broke very early morning, about 5am so I suppose that counts as the start of labour :)

My labour started at 4pm after being awake since 7.30am, baby wasn't born till 7am. Very tired! lol

Mine started at 6pm (regular contractions had a bleed at 5pm)......I hadn't slept well the night before either so by the time she arrived at 6.37am the next day - I was cream crackered!

Mine was about midnight, so by the time she arrived at nearly 7 o'clock the following evening I felt like total shite! Why does nature have to be so cruel?!

With Jess they started about 3am but she wasn't born till 9.52pm next day. Aimee is was induced with so that doesn't count.
Nathan my waters broke at 4pm but my labour didn't kick off propally till about 12 noon the next day and he was born at 1.39pm.

Mine started around 6pm, and James was born at 5.30am the next morning.
I would love the next one to happen during the day. I thought the tiredness made it so much harder.

with kiyanna they broke around 4am in the morning whilst iwas in bed. with elise they broke around 7am

The first I felt was at 4pm. She was born at 8:45pm (the same day) with a lovely homebirth.... however I needed stitches and the midwife wasn't confident about doing them so I had to transfer to hospital and it was 2:30am before we got home :rotfl:

Wow - that's fantastic - less than 5 hours. Shame about the stitches though - bit of a shame to end such a lovely home birth experience at hospital for stitches.
