hi guys, well went to see my Dr this avo after this months af failed to appear ( 12 days late now) and he basically said sit tight, assume pregnant until proven otherwise and keep testing. He also said it has been known - not common but not impossible- for women to go thru most of the pregnancy getting bfn and still end up absolutely fine at the end of it. So the plan is to wait till next week, test again in 7 days if no af and then if no bfp then wait another few days etc etc, I have an appointment to see the specialist clinic for clomid on feb 13 ( ive been having no ov cycles of 25 days every 3 - 4 cycles for a couple of years) and if they suspect pregnancy they will scan me before any treatment.
has anyone heard of late bfp's? it must be possible but just never happened to me, i got a strong bfp on the day i missed af with both my kids.
so, no alcohol or riding until we know!!

I have known a couple of ladies who have got their BFPS late in the cycles one was on cd117 and the other cd 157 (give or take a few days ) so it is possible.

The old witch got me this morning!! How typical is that!! Longest ever cycle by miles but...Im trying to be positive. We are seeing the fertility clinic next month and I know i needed af before then so thats one good thing, the other is that I know Im not pg and something is wrong, with both my kids I 'knew' without a doubt even before af was late, got a very strong bfp with both very early on. I had an early mc in may and that showed as a faint bfp which never got stronger so all in all I guess its a good thing, at least we know now and no more limbo land!
better put me on the testing feb thread!!

sorry she got you. that's just typical timing though!! last time i was really late i went and got af just before appointment!
