You have to be very very special
Urchin said:The newer mods were jointly decided by me, suz and LauraB. For a start off you have to apply (when laura makes a post saying we are looking for mods) Then we went through each person with pros and cons and how they have already been as a member.

i just didnt understand it... just thought you all came out from nowhere and invented "The Pregnancy Forum"

I think LauraB is allowed, as she actually pays for the forum or summat

Laura deciding who will moderate her forum is "bold"?
...post count didn't have anything to do with how people were chosen, apart from a mimimum post count to apply, that was it....People who had helped out before (eg Valentine) when it was just me and Suz etc were considered, as well as people who may try and calm down trouble when no mods are around.
Anyone can get their post count up in a word association game or by posting in every other thread, but that's not exactly an accurate way to judge whether or not a person would make a good moderator, is it?
