We are a couple I work part time my OH is going to be Ivys main carer so not working and we just have Ivy.

Thing is we are receiving £70 something a week!?! And then Working Tax credits too from last year when we were both working. TBH it seems as though we are getting way too much and I really am worried that next year they will turn around and ask for a whole load back! Is there anyway of definately checking that we are receiving the right amount or guaranteeing that it wont be asked back for next year? (Know I shouldn't complain but It seems too much to me) just wondered what everyone else is receiving.

Thanks :)

We are based on our circumstances now! We get £65ish a week child tax and not far off working too. I only get SMP and OH is on Jobseekers as he was made redundant. Whenever he gets a job i call them and they alter it again, but my child tax stays the same.

Mine and OHs combined income last year was about £24k and we get £21.40 in Child Tax Credit a week and sod all working tax credit :(
