can you tel me what sperm count is

the first thing it shows on my partners reading is - 20 million

but then says his sperm concentration is 8.7 million. so is his sperm count 20 million or 8.7 caus iv jus read on a site that concentration means sperm count

Sorry I really don't know, we don't get our results back till wednesday this coming week, so will be interested in the replys.

I would hazard a guess that sperm count at 20 million is the one to use, and the sperm concentration of 8.7 mil, is 8.7 mil per whatever measure of seminal fluid they are listing, giving you his sperm concentration. hope you get some more answers to help you

20mil is total sperm that he ejaculated. 8.7mil is the amount per millileter of ejaculate.
