Hi  ...

This question is for those of you who are about to start maternity leave...

What have you all got planned to do with your last few weeks of freedom?

I'm finishing on 28th Dec, and my baby's due on 28th Jan. I'm hoping to go and visit my family for a few days, and refurbish my kitchen before the baby comes... and do the nursery!

Are you all still able to drive, or do your bellies no longer fit behind the steering wheel? I have short legs, and at the moment there's still quite a big gap between my belly and the wheel...I'm not so sure how long this will last though!!

Can't bloody waite to finish though!! :cheer: :cheer:

Nothing planned yet. Probably just get the house in order. My maternity leave starts beginning of December.

No problems with driving...yet

look at my ticker! I can't wait to finish either! :rotfl:

I'll just have moved into our hopefully finished new house so I'll be pottering about and getting all the rooms sorted ready for the baby and for Xmas!

I finish work on Friday - I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do for the next 3 (or 5!) weeks. Everything is done, sorted, washed and packed. Hmmm .... I guess I'll catch up with other friends who are also on maternity leave, although I think overall I'm gonna get bored fast :(

I'm just starting my maternity leave but don't know how I'm going to cope with no work...if someone phones me to do some supply teaching I might take them up on it! lol!

I finish on Friday 30th November, so I plan to get Christmas pressies sorted, all the birthday pressies I need to buy (have so many peoples birthdays between xmas day & 6th Jan).

I am going to write my Chritmas cards, get everything washed & organised for when baby arrives & I'm sure there's other bits & bobs I forgotten about.

I can't wait to finish am getting so uncomfortable at work now so I am definately on countdown - 4 weeks on Friday-

Super idea - thanks! Had totally forgotten about Christmas!!!! LOL

I think you should all think yourselves very lucky!! I am a housewife and have 2 small children already so no maternity leave for me, I might get to rest for 1 or 2 days but that'll be it before its back to the daily grind!!!!! I did suggest maternity leave to my husband - he said it was a great idea and could he get a sweedish aupair to temp for me. Thanks love.

xx
