what does ovulation pain feel like??

I currently have sort of an dull achy twingy pain in my central lower abdomen and wondered if this could be an ovulation pain as I'm due to ovulate anytime now

but i've not got a postive OPK yet, so figure perhaps this could be an early uti?

what do people think. what should ovulation pain feel like?

Chellie as you know am due to ovulate and I have been having afew twinges in my lower back. They just come and go rather than being there permantly

It does sound like it could be ovulation pains you are experiencing.
I get a dull dragging sensation, usually on my left side, a little lower than my hipbone.

This is potentialy quite exciting then...I've never noticed ovulation pain before! (I'm sad to be excited by this I know lol)

does it normally occur before ovulation? during? or just after?

I get it just before and at ovulation. What you are feeling is the preparation of the egg being released and the rupture of the egg from your ovary.
Many women have a dominant ovary rather than ovulation alternating between ovaries. My left ovary is my dominant ovary and I pretty much always feel "Twinges" on that side.
