I love both names, but not sure about the sound of them together - too similar.
(sorry, hope I've not upset you, just thought you want honest opinions. Esme is beautiful).

Thanks everyone. Bethi you haven't upset me I wanted people opinions. I absolutely love Esme but need middle name to be Amy for my oh because his niece died of cancer when she 11 so he wants her name in there. I've got a few other names in mind aswel.

Bethany Amy
Imogen Amy

It's just too hard to decide xx

I love Esme hun.
And I wouldn't care what any friend or family member thought of out chosen name.

FIL tried mocking Noah the other day saying 'What if I tell him off and say NO No...?' I said you wont be shortening his name to No anyway so that will NOT be a problem! GRRRR!!
Then he tried saying 'For an atheist you didnt half pick a biblical name' I replied.. 'Hes named after Ryan Goslings character from The Notebook actually :)' TWAT!

I think you should keep it hun i thin Esme Amy goes lovely! xx

Aww thanks Hun! I absolutely love Noah it's a lovely name and the notebook is one of my fave films! Who cares what people think ay! Xx

what about 2 middle names?? like my mates lg is called ruby grace tamara and tgen with her sir name it suits so I dont know like esme rose amy maybe... I presonally think esme amy sounds too similar

It's going to have to be rose now! That name keeps popping up into my head and into conversations I've been hearing a I really like it, then I mentioned it to my mum last night and she loves it aswel Esme Rose Quinn does have a lovely ring to it xx

Imogen Amy is pretty.
I prefer Esme though - it's so classy and elegant sounding.
Will you pronounce it Ez-mee or Ez-may?

No go with it, your nan will think it suits her perfectly afterwards!
Perhaps the more traditional names were common in her day, like me going to school with 5 debbies, 6 traceys and 4 helens, so less unusual to her generation, but lovely name. I like enid too

Actually one of my shortlist of two girls names, oh doesnt like as its an old name, but its still my fav...

I read it as es-may anyway, I think most would?

Lovely names.

How about Esme-Rose Amy Quinn?

Being honest I don't like esme but I blame that on twilight lol, but it's your baby Hun and you should call your LO whatever you like. It should not matter what anyone thinks xxx

Haha JJ that just tickled me because my mums called Tracey and her sister is called Debbie, my nan has always been picky anyway she's a pain, she told me again she didn't like the other day so I said to her 'well I don't like your name but you don't see me complaining!' Haha that shut her up x
