Indie or India?
Im not sure if I love it or hate it lol
At the moment its between Evangeline, Ruby or Mercedes.
But then I thought of India today, I also love Paris??
I just want something unusual but pretty at the same time.

I like Indie better more unusual and also like Ruby but its getting too common now. x

Yeah thats what putting me of. I dont want something that in 2 years everyone is called lol

I feel the same we love Elsie but im scared of it been really popular in a few years. And boys names havnt even a single clue its so hard choosing a name because that little person has to have it for the rest of there lives so you want something there gona love when there older x

I'm sorry, I loathe names that are the height of fashion today and every one has them tomorrow.

I personally would avoid Ruby and Evangeline like the plague. A year ago I would have loved them, but they are extremely popular and do you really want to be following everyone else?

Mercedes, only heard that one in my favourite vampire/werewolf series Blood Bound etc. So yes, to me it sounds unique, but it's still a car!

I dont know how popular India/Indie is. Not heard it much so i would say it's more of a winner. Plus it sounds really pretty x

I dont know anyone called Evangeline, and it sounds so pretty and unique.
Im not sure, I guess when I see her Ill know what she suits :)

Hiya!

I know a little girl called Indiana who's now 7, she's absolutely gorgeous! They shorten her name to Indie alot.

I'm not keen on Paris TBH but only because I knew a boy called Paris at school who was so up his own arse it was untrue lol.

Good luck choosing! :)

xxx

my friend has got a little boy called indianna and gets called indie. I much prefer it as a girls name. I love paris too. Xxx

i like them all! hehe! I don't care if names are common or not!
Indiana is gorgeous, I always like savannah for a girl

I don't know - i kind of feel that you are missing the point intended when these names are used that makes them acceptable even though they are unusual.

They are all places and things that relate in some way to the family or the parents or the child.

Do you have any link to India or Indiana? They are both places.

If i met a child called Mercedes, i would assume that the child was conceived on the back seat of one lol

Paris Hilton, for example, i'd assume daddy just opened a hotel there or she was conceived there or they just loved the city - something tangible.

If you try to apply the same logic to yourself, you'd come up with a much more unique name but it wouldn't be daft to use it.

Maybe i'm just too literal to be comfortable to use such a name when there is no reason to :oooo:

If i applied it to myself i might call my child Whistler, Elaera, Enalla, Stanton, Quays, Ashes, Audi (lol) - not any decent names in my lot, Stanton is alright i guess :(
