ok so i know it is early days for me, but i thought it would be helpful for us all if we had a list of things we are gonna need for baby. (esp as this is my first)

so far i would put (i dont have a clue)

crib
pram
carseat

hey! there are loads of things inc nappies, wipes, cotton wool, clothes, changing mat, changing bag, sterilizer (good to have even if you plan to breastfeed as i found out it doesnt always go to plan) formular milk, blankets, cot sheets, moses basket and sheet, bibs, muslins, toys, bouncy chair/play gym etc baby monitor, baby bath, top and tail bowl, bath thermometer, room thermometer, baby monitor, shampoo, baby bath wash, baby sponge, laundry basket, cotton buds... the list is endless!

This website is the one i used when i was pregnant as it has everything and you can just check things off as you get them. I would recommend everytime you go shopping to pick 1 or 2 things up. as wont take a big cut of money at a time and it soon mounts up.

I'll write what we bought and whether I would recommend and if theres anything i regret not buying , hope it helps!

Pram - travel system (necessity for us , my recommendation for next would be a pram that holds car seat in the chassis, so handy!! and carrycot i personally wouldnt do without next time)
Moses Basket - bought but wudnt buy again i dont *think*, would rather use carrycot off pram as a lot more sturdier and comfortable
Car Seat - got ours with pram invaluable
Cot - i didnt want a cot bed as i thought i wud rather have drop side, if i was having a do-over i wud go for cot bed instead as i never used the drop side but defo wuda used the bed
Cot Mattress - i wud recommend the mamas and papas mattresses whioch go on offer in argos regularly as the cover is removeable incase baby vomits :)
Baby Bath / Changing Station - i got changing station which is lovely but i rarely used the bath of it, i use it more now its in the bathroom to dress her on, i also bought mamas and papas ergo bath £25 - argos and it is FAB , it holds baby so ur two hands r free :) wud recimmend 150%
Steriliser - i bought electric and microwaveable - never used electric as so bulky and ugly in the kitchen lol it sat in cupboard loved my micro one as it sat tidy in the micro when not in use :), i bought micro one for £11 in asda baby event
Bottles - i bought 8 tommee tippee and then got a couple free with sterilisers, wud recommend but bottles are baby dependent lol i loved TT tho
Nursery Furniture - Madison has proper nursery furniture, would never buy it wud go for ordinary ones as hold a lot more are usually deeper and taller
Swing - we had the fisher price open top take along swing - invaluable :) although i also lay her on an adult beanbag regularly as she loved this and supposed to help reflux
Monitors - we have the sensor pad monitors i hated the fact they werent digital so i now have the tomy digital ones, i wudnt have been without sensor pad (also saved my nephews life!!!) but tommee tippee have brought out a new DIGITAL sensor pad montior which is £100 but is £65 in asda baby event :)
Thermometer - Braun in ear thermometer its fab cos anytime u go to docs with LO doc always asks babies 'normal temp which i never knew lol so its good to know so u know when babies temp is up/down
Nappy Wrapper - i hated :/

i think thats all the big stuff :/ hope i havent scared u all!! xx
