What do you like about the month your child was born in?

My baby is a valentines day baby.

Advantages - no other family birthdays in February, can buy presents in January sales and as far as i know valentines day normally falls in half term so she won't have to go to school on her bday. (I might be wrong about that though!).

Obvs might be a disadvantage as she gets older and cant go out for a meal on her birthday without being surrounded by loved up couples! Xx

I have 2 winter babies!
Madison is November and it is the countdown to Christmas.
Erraid is October, the month on my anniversary, she has a
Semi cool birthday 14-10-14, it's nearly a month until her big sisters bday and winter is on the way.

I love being able to wrap them up nice and cosy for those chilly winter days.

My birthday is April and sometimes falls on Easter Sunday so birthday and Easter eggs, what's not to like?

My friend has her birthday on New Year's Eve and she hates it! So much so tang she doesn't want a December/January baby.

R' s birthday is the 26th June and I think its just perfect as every 6 months practicallly to the day he gets spoiled rotten with gifts and has a real celebration, Christmas then his birthday. Means clothes that people buy him are the next size up and hes gone into the next size up pretty much at the right time too so a whole new wardrobe!

Also Im a teacher and he was born the last day of term so Im either going to be on holiday every year (as will he) or his birthday will be the last or second last day. Which means his parties can be the weekend before school stops when everyone is in a great mood ( including me). Also his friends wont be away on holiday yet.

All my familiesbirthdays are Jan, Feb and March and April so he has his own month.

Lastly I would say that weather wise there is more of a chance of there being a nice day. His first birthday the sun was splitting the the trees!

Oscar's birthday is 22nd March which is nice because both of his grandads have March birthdays too :) and it's only this year that it's true but my maternity will cover all of the spring and summer so hopefully we can go do some nice things as a little family.

Oscar shares my birthday :) the only downside to it is that it sometimes falls on Mother's Day!

My daughters birthday is 9th nov I was just glad she wasn't born on Halloween or bonfire night I wanted her to have her own day. It's positives are that Halloween and bonfire night are fab, and no other birthdays around hers.

Negatives are parties will have to be indoors and it's cold!

Early Jan baby - won't be one of the youngest in his school year.

Disappointed to have missed 1/1/15 and 5/1/15, with a date of the third!

My youngest was induced on 1.3.13. I so wanted him to be born on that day but the little monkey made his appearance at 1.50am on 2.3.13 lol

I have 2 born in March! - nice things are Easter, spring is coming, lighter mornings/evenings! less clothes needed!

I have 1 born 9 days before Christmas! don't like that as she has all her presents within a week or so of each other and then nothing for a year! also when she was born it was middle of winter and couldn't get out as much and she needed to be wrapped up with lots of layers and had reflux! Also every year she hardly gets anyone come to her birthday party as they are either ill, doing xmas stuff or snowed in!

Finn is 4th June 2012. I will always remember that it was the long bank holiday weekend for the Queens jubilee. I love that he's a June baby, means outdoor birthday parties. I also liked the fact that I could take him out for walks in the buggy straight away as it was warm.

Ollie is 20th March. I love his birthday because its the start of Spring and I love spring.

2nd December - the weekend after birthday celebrations the Christmas decorations go up so double excitement for all of December
31st October - yes Halloween, looking forward to all the parties we'll be having lol Xx

1st July my lo was born. I love that he's a summer baby!

Benefits for me are -

He will never be at school on his birthday (we're in Scotland so summer starts end of June).

We can have his birthday party in the garden, the past two years the weather has been really hot although being scotland this obviously is not guaranteed for every year! 😝

I love that on New Years day he is exactly 'a half' so first year he was 6 months, this year 18 months etc. I don't know why but it seems like a nice way to start the year with a sorta wee half birthday.

It falls during Wimbledon which I love as it's always made me feel summery so it's a happy time.

I'm not planning on any more kids but if I was and if I could choose the month it would be May/June/July.

I myself am a November baby (likely to have been conceived on Valentine's lol) and I've always liked my birthday. Autumn is lovely. There are positives to every month. But like others have said, it really doesn't matter when your baby is born, I'm just so happy and grateful to have him!

Evie is 3 on Monday (30th March). Spring is coming, it's often around Easter time so as a teacher I'm off school, her 15 hours free funding kicks in two days after her birthday....
