As the title says really. How do you fill your day at the moment?

Im still working boooo, 38hrs a week. But only three weeks left thank bloody god lol!!!xx Love my job but im beginning to admit defeat lol!!!xxxxx

i finished work on the 3rd dec i think, and i basically decorated 2 rooms, clean stuff, go out with friends all the time (2 of my close friends are pregnant and due 1 month after and 2 months after me) we go shopping or whatever, have people round, walk the dogs, laze about on the sofa, watch tv, go to stables, and sleep a hell of a lot! Hehe i havent really felt that bored yet x

I've been cleaning odds and ends. I keep finding things that are bugging me (yesterday I noticed each door of inside the house on the rim has dust along it) so I have been flash febreezing each door.

Another odd thing I did (although it didn't seem odd at the time) was going through my bookcase in the lounge ditching books on child abuse. I work in a school for children with home issues and I have in the past read some true life novels i.e "Daddy's little earner" etc. I suddenly though this wouldn't be a nice title for my child to read when he is old enough!

Speaking of reading I have also been thoroughly gripped by a book I asked for at Christmas - Jo Frost (supernanny) "Confident Baby Care", which has helped to fill my time.

I have been doing laundry too - all my cushion covers, rugs around the house etc have all enjoyed a Bold 2 in 1 wash!

I have also been having a look at baby groups to do when babs arrives as I'd like to establish a routine, and not end up being a housebound Mummy. I fancy doing baby massage classes and swimming etc. This has been fun! I've not been in Bristol long (3 years) and have only met friends through work really, but I wouldn't class all of them as "true friends" really...more colleagues who are ok! So I'm quite enthusiatic to get out and meet people.

Sorry this has turned into a real waffle!!!

No it's really interesting to know what people are up to. I just don't have any energy for all that whatsoever. Hope I get more of an energy boost nearer the time.

I had a terrible few weeks of feeling exhausted too hun. I had no energy for nothing, it was awful. If i'm honest I was a couch potato in that time - reading books watching tv. I'm a believer that you should do what your body tells you to do. If your tired, sleep. If you have energy, get cleaning!

Perhaps you just need a little you time at the moment to relax and gather your energy. I don't doubt that soon enough you will get a spring in your step and feel much better for all the resting you did :)

Lets face it, you won't be getting much of this :nap: once babs is here!

Hugs x x x

I am still working until next week when I will be 37 weeks. I am so tired and am looking forward to not working.

Wow, poor you hun.

I am very lucky I work in a school so I was able to finish work before the Christmas holidays (when I was 34 weeks) but my official 'maternity leave' began at the begining of January when the kids went back.

Like you i don't have masses of energy so generally spend the mornings having a lie in/relax in front of telly/reading, then doing bits and bobs in the afternoon like cleaning/shopping/walking dog/visiting etc before getting tea ready for when hubby gets home from work!

Not all in one day obviously! But generally days will consist of some kind of mix of these!

Sometimes i do feel guilty if i have a super lazy day but have to tell myself not to be silly... I'll not have a moment to myself soon enough!

I'm still working too but I'm finding it really hard. I'm a secondary teacher and I'm busy trying to get everything pulled together before I go. The kids keep saying thing like 'what would you do
Miss if you went into labour now'... I'm super tired though, especially as I'm
Doing extra stuff - I'm generally doing about 11/12 hour working days then all the usual stuff at home. Then I work on weekend marking and stuff. I intend to spend the first couple of days of my maternity doing nothing except watch tv and read and sleep - I'll need it - I can't wait!

You will definitely deserve it stumpy, that sounds ALOT!

I'm still working, last day on the 28th jan! I can't wait!
XxX

I'm bored out of my head as I'm on house arrest thanks to mum, so I wake up, eat. Watch "a baby story" and "bringing home baby" on discovery homes n health.
Have one or two naps for the day.
Go on Facebook and this forum.
If not then look at baby stuff online.

This is a daily thing unless I have to go out with mum or attend midwife/antenatal class.

My life is boring right now

I made myself a list of stuff that I felt I wanted done before baby arrived and worked from that, I really do struggle without a routene even even if a boring one. I never did have a lie in due to kids , but did do a bit of loafing near xmas . I did lots of xmas shopping and washing and ironing baby clothes , and diy.

I caught up with freinds and mates for cuppas , (like a lady of leisure) which was lovely and really picks you up when your having a lonely day while all your non children mates are at work.
