what do braxton hicks exactly feel like?

Hello,
I have been getting some sharpish pains very low down (just above the pelvic bone) from time to time. I am wondering if these are braxton hicks? This is my 2nd pregnancy but as my last preg was some time ago, I can't really remember! Any help would be much appreciated
