My OH loves family guy too do he got a pair of family guy pj bottoms and socks, a little teddy saying daddy you're a star, a chocolate football boot and 4 chocolate cupcakes and I made him his face beef stew dinner today xx

my OH will be getting a mug with footprints and handprints on, but for today he got a homemade card with a poem inside i wrote for him....

To my Daddy….

My name is Hannah Lily Flay
And I wrote this little ode to say
How much I love you and always will
The way you clean my bum is brill…!

I came into the world this year
And the first words you and mum did hear
It’s a girl Mr and Mrs Flay
But then sadly I was whisked away

You came and sat with me every night
You helped mummy until she was feeling right
I couldn’t ask for a better Daddy
And I’m sorry if I sometimes paddy…

You know that I don’t mean to cry
And often it’s cos I’m thinking why…
Why does my little body feel this way
And then I hear my daddy say..


Come on darling it’s bobies time..
And then I know this little body of mine
is sleepy and ready for my little nap
but sometimes its cos I need a cr……poo!

You wake me every morning and say
Come on darling it’s a brand new day
You shout and say ‘it’s okay mum
I’ll deal with this balloon bum!’

You chose my clothes for me to wear
Getting socks on you try not to swear
Cos I’m wriggly now and I don’t keep still
Getting a nappy on is a battle of wills!

So on your first ever fathers day Dad
Just remember that if you’re ever feeling bad
Look my way and I’ll give you a grin
Then who needs a lottery win!

I love you Daddy and Mummy loves you more and more every day too!

Seeing as OH and I aren't together anymore, today was hard.

I really struggled. We got him a canvas with a photo of him and baby the first time he fed him, sent him a card, and we skyped him too.

I don't think I could have done anymore.

We're very very strapped for cash and OH hates spending tons on Fathers/Mothers day etc so Jack bought him a card, a Daddy keyring, a box of footy mad Dad mints for his work van and a box of Daddy chocolate stars x

That poem is super!
Emily bought her daddy a little teddy, some socks and a book... She made a card using a pic of her with her daddy. By the time I finally got round to giving DH the stuff Emily was in her cot asleep and it was past 9pm! We had a busy day travelling to a family Christening and didn't get back til late.

Awww how cute! We were away at a vw camper show so daddy was happy but he did have a little hangover from the 20 odd cans he thought would be a good idea to drink on Sat! Kynon got him a mug with his hand print on we did at baby sensory and a t shirt. Wanted to do one of my hand print jewellery pieces for him but he don't do jewellery and it would have cost too much to do a silver keyring that he would probably loose!
