What can/could your baby do at 6 months?

Jaida can:

Sit up for a while until she leans too far to try and get a toy or throws herself back.

Drink from her cup.

Spin her spinny toys.

Roll from front to back.

Roll from back to front.

Open and close baby books.

Sit up but is too interested in her toes and then topples forward.

Roll both ways.

Pushes herself forward on her knees like some sort of army commando to get her toys.

Feeds herself rusks, toastie fingers quite well.

Squeals a lot

jack can....

roll from tummy to back

stand really well with us holding his hands!

eat finger food and eat using a spoon (very messy lol)

drink from his cup

Rudy can-

Sit up but can topple if he is interested in something far away.

Drink from a beaker (not sure if that what others mean by cup, if you mean an actual cup Rudy can't do that without soaking himself)

Feed himself finger foods

NOT roll any way

Jump up and down when held by hands

Stand for 0.05 seconds when not holding onto anything

Play peekabo

Bashes anything and everything in sight (I think he is going to be a bit of a destructive toddler!)

Last night jaida had some toast for the first time, she held it herself and was biting bits off! I was so scared she might choke, but she ate it like a pro, i'm so proud of her!

DD was 9 months old on Thursday and she rolled from her back to her front for the first time today!

He can...

Feed himself finger foods and hold a spoon and eat (not very well) what's on it.

Stand holding onto hands and bounce up and down.

Roll, but only front to back and only by accident

Babble like crazy - gagaga, googoo, geegee, and squeal (oh my ears)

Reach for things and then have a good attempt to bash whatever he's got to death... this also includes pulling his daddy's beard half off!

Smile and laugh a lot

Put everything in his mouth

He can't...

Crawl or move at all

Sit up by himself even for a second

Roll back to front, and has a hard time going front to back

Is starting to get the concept of peekaboo but is still a little confused

Logan can:
eat finger foods quite well, other foods that he can't get into his mouth he still eats but have to be put there
eat from a spoon
bounce up and down while being held upright
walk with his Chicco walker (but no co-ordination)
scream loudly
sometimes roll, but bit accidental rather than deliberate
Sit sometimes, but hit and miss
pass things from one hand to the other
creep on his tummy. but screams the whole time
Dribble for England.

he can't crawl and ike i said rolling and sitting are hit and miss still
