What am I entitled to, if anything?

Ive looked at the tax credit calculator and am thinking if I don't go back to work, I'm not entitled to anything. Is this right? Am trying to weigh up whether it is worthwhile going back part-time if I can and paying nursery fees against not working and looking after lo (nursery expensive).

My partner earns about £33k...I think :-/

Can anyone help?

Thanks xx

I would like to know the answer to this too for future reference as my partner is on the same salary and I cant seem to say what benefits or tax credits we could get :S

As you said, unfortunately, I don't think you would be entitled to anything other than child benefit, which everyone is entitled to.. Although, if you did decide to return to work, as you and your OH are both working, you may be able to get some help with childcare costs (I think the income threshold for this is around £40,000), but it's whether this is enough to benefit you returning to work? A good website to try is: www.entitledto.co.uk.. Hope this helps! xx

Thanks for your reply hun, that's really helpful. Xx
