Ryan is 7 and sometimes ask to use spray or roll-on. I have no idea what age it's safe or OK to start using it. I wondered if any of you with older kids could shed some light as I have no problem giving it to him but don't want to damage his skin.

Id say it was fine but use a more natrual sensitive one like the E5 one..

Thanks Cassi. I let him have the odd real quick spray of mine but a bit worried about giving him a roll-on like I'd use.

Try and avoid anything that contains aluminium salts in as they have found to be one of the causes of breast cancer.
I use an aloe vera based stick deoderant.

Oh thanks, I'd never heard of that. He has just had a bath and used mine, feels all grown up now but I'll get him a different one tomorrow. Think I'll ask the pharmacist which is best and make sure it doesn't have that in it.

Yeah weird as Ryan doesn't seem to sweat unless he is being really active but he cuddled me earlier and had BO, he is only 7 and a half. :( Soon went and got him some and told him to use it every night after his bath.

my sisters son started sweating early and needed anti perspirant. he may have been about 7.
all kids are different. you have to treat them as individual and do whats necessary. :)

Yeah I guess, just seems really early. He had a friend Carol who (sorry sounds nasty) but she was only 4 and absolutely stank even when I went close to her of stale BO. Not something you can really tell their parents about though is it but it put me off having her over it was that strong, poor kid.
