what age did yours start rolling over

and I mean from back to stomach and then stomach to back?

Our little boy is 5 1/2 months, occasionally rolls but not often, but is otherwise very energetic, shuffling legs, lifting bum, lifting head up alone and high

anything to worry about and what is normal?

he was 4 weeks prem, dont know if this makes any difference

I think from what I can remember my daughter might of been 5-6 months, she always been a little slower at things like rolling over, crawling, walking than some other children but all kids are different and it is still in the normal range so try not to worry. Once they get going there is no stopping them and then you will have moments when you wish they were still immobile so they couldn't get into as much mischief lol x

My eldest was a late mover and didn't roll properly to get around until well after 9 months. They will do it at their own pace, so really don't worry!

I think ds was 3-4 months rolling from front to back but was 7 months going from back to front and was already shuffling round the room by that point! Weird child. As the others have said, 5.5months sounds pretty normal

Rosie was about 6/7m!! She was so lazy! Didn't crawl til 11.5m, walk til 17m! But she's a perfect 21m old now bombing around the place!

You have absolutely nothing to worry about x

My lg has just started confidently rolling from back to front at almost 6 months...she can't roll from front to back yet though so she currently just yells until I help her flip back over!

I think thomas could sit unaided before he decided to roll properly. He was probably at least 6 months before he did it.

Don't worry hun they all manage in their own time. They just develop skills at different points in time. My lo didn't crawl until 10ish months but was cruising at the same time, but he's now already walking at 14 months while the average for that is 18 months!! Go figure!!

Wouldn't worry! My lb did it about 17 wks...my friends lb is 2 month younger & didn't do it until about 7 months! He's just turned 1 and has been walking now for about a month. My lb isnt walking!
