Kayla is 18 weeks is that too young to go in room on her own?

Were weaning her off her dummy as she was waking her self too much when she does into light sleep from 4 am but OH is a snorer and think he wakes her a lot too so was gonna let her sleep on her own,

We have a video monitor and a Snuza monitor on her nappy too

I personally don't think there is a set time, all families are different. We have no choice but to bed in but I am sure Albert would prefer his own room sometimes. It doesn't hurt to give it a try, LO will be fine, it's you who will probably suffer for the first few nights lol xxxxxxxxx

My LO was about 8 weeks old when she went into her own cot and room.

Best thing we did - we all slept better!!! I'm sure Daddys snoring was keeping her awake at night!!

T bag has been in her own room for a good few weeks now. I think 3 weeks maybe. I don't regret it for a second. I was about the end of my tether with being up half the night with the shuffling/waking and the sleep deprivation that resulted.

She sleeps much better now. And so do we :)

9 weeks. Husband is also a horrendous snorer and also she looked very uncomfy in her crib so decided to try her in her big cot and couldn't fit it in our room. She went from waking 4 times a night down to twice the night she went in, and within a fortnight was sleeping through. But she is in the room right next to us, so my head is actually about 4ft away from the cot, albeit through the wall!! It wouldn't suit everyone but it worked for us.

I mean 3 weeks ago, so 11 weeks

My lo stated sleeping through the night from 6 weeks but because he was a big boy he starte waking himself up by hitting his hands on the side of his Moses basket so he went in the cot in the nursery at nearly 8 weeks and he sleeps like a baby hehe!

Thanks girls

feel much better about it tonight, We had a doube bed in her room so we slept in there from the start so we will be moving out and back to our room so hopefully she wont notice were not there

Made up our bed earlier while we were still deciding so think we defo sleep there tonight

We moved h at 12 weeks as he was too big for his crib (we have the big friendly giant) and tbh he is as far away from me as he was in his crib as his room is rght nest to me!!
xxx

We moved K at 14 weeks. We have all slept much better since :)

We moved Jack at 6 months because he still fitted in his moses basket until then :) x

i havent yet but i have been thinking about when i should. im starting to think oh is waking her when he comes to bed at 3 ish cos she seems to be waking shortly after and sometimes sleeps thru

Well had her fist night on her own last night and had a great sleep, didnt look for her dummy or mammy or daddy , just woke for about 10 seconds when noisy neighbour made a big bang at about 530 but then went straight back asleep :-)

I was awake a good bit checking the monitor though lol

We waited until a week before she hit 6 months. I didn't feel ready to move her before and being 100% honest I wasn't completely ready then but she's slept much better since. I talk in my sleep a lot and I'm really loud and husband snores and I think that woke her up a few times. I think you should do it when you're ready and if it doesn't work they can be moved back :) xx

We moved E when she was 6 weeks as she was starting to get too long for we basket.

We all had fantastic nights sleep after that and E started doing 12 hours straight not long after.

On tapatalk so can't see tickers :-(
Excuse the typos, phone has mind of its own.
