I went to hospital on thursday for monitoring and had an internal to check whether my waters had gone. After that I had bleeding which the mw said was normal because of the exam. By the next morning it was brown so seemed to be stopping but in the afternoon I had more fresh blood . I rang the hospital and tbh they were pretty useless. She asked how much and if I had pains, it was more than spotting but only needed a panty liner for it and I was having tightenings and pains every 5/10 minutes worse than before. She said I was having the pains because I was bleeding and thought it should be ok, she didn't seem bothered about the fresh bleeding. She said she didn't want me sat here "worrying" so I could ring again or just turn up at labour ward if I needed - surely she would realise I was ringing her because I was concerned?! :wall2:
Thankfully the fresh bleeding stopped again and wasn't much but now (sorry TMI) my discharge has changed colour from clear to yellowy (but isn't smelly) and spotted with brown streaks. The pains have eased and just getting regular BH now I only got 4 hours sleep friday night because of the pains and tightenings! My mw was away last week and I was thinking of trying to see her on tuesday if she is back.

Sorry for the moan I just needed to get it off my chest! x x x

Omg! Sounds like you've had a rough time. Could that be your plug?

Thanks for the reply.
I did wonder if it could be plug but I thought it was meant to be jelly like which it's not really but does seem thicker than normal x

What a crap few days :( sounds like the hospital wasn't much help. I'd still call them about the discharge and see what they say, it's what they are there for xx

Def call them about the discharge just in case, make them work for their money! U just never know. My midwife said the plug could be less gloupy than u might expect so it does sound like it could be that? I hope u feel better soon xx
