Wet Patch..

Just went to the loo and my knickers had a wet patch on them, not massive and wasnt on my jeans.. but (cause im weird ) I had a sniff.. and it has a VERY strong chemical smell, kinda like bleach, definately not a pee smell. Whaddya think girls?

a bleach like smell sounds like your waters are leaking!
I would phone the l&d ward if i were you and they may want you in to be checked over.
Put a mat towel on cos they will ask you to do the same, so you can tell how much is leaking out.

Yeah i would phone up and check hun and as above put a towel on mine smell sweet but its just ex liquid comin out in my case

Left pads at my house, typical, but ive put on a fresh pair of knicks so will know if theres anymore, if there is ill call up triage.. hmm to tell my mum now or later that she will have to dig out the car? Lol

they usually do ask you to go in if it could be your waters cos there is a risk in infection if you dont go into labour within a day or 2. I wouldnt go in the bath or have sex or stuff like that til you find out for sure cos that could cause infection too if it is indeed your waters. My mw told me if it is your waters then a pad should be wet through within an hour even if they are just trickling but the bleachy smell really souinds like it is so i would defo phone cos sometimes baby's head can act like a plug and stop waters from coming out.

Bah, False alarm take two. Wasnt my waters, just extra lube LOL god knows where the bleach smell came from though ..

Anyway baby is fine, and stickin in like glue, nasty ass midwife wouldnt tell me about my cervix while she was swabbing in there though! Grr i wanted to know if the evening primrose was doing anything!
