Oh girls, I know they say we forget things but finally it's got out of hand. :( I woke up this morning and went into the kitchen and thought blimey it's hot in here - I'd left the gas hob on all night!! :wall: :( :wall:

Luckily nothing had fallen on it and caught fire, or blown it out and gassed us or anything but I can't believe it! What a freeking doofus! Hubby found it funny and told the bean that "Mummy tried to kill us all last night" On the plus side I can recommend saucepans from BHS as it didn't burn through the pot or anything!

And then I left my mobile at home, got stuck in horrendous traffic was late for work and everything, so now I want to cry - hopefully the Cadbury's cream egg I just scoffed (that's right wicked witch of work a Cadbury's Cream Egg!) will make things all better. :D

Make me feel better and tell me what you all have been forgetting lately?

Well I'd completely forgotten that my husband (ooh, that's weird - we've only been married for 12 days and I think that's the first time I've referred to him in writing as 'my husband'!!) bought me a creme egg yesterday, but you've just reminded me!

*goes off to scoff creme egg...*

OH MY GOD CHOPSIE! YOU GOT MARRIED?!?!

CONGRATULATIONS!

How was the big day? We got married in September but it feels like ages away. :D

I'm the smae. No brain, just sawdust holding my head together at the moment. I forget what i'm saying half way through a sentence!

Congratulations on the wedding Chopsie. I hope you had a fantastic day :)

Thanks girls :)

It was a fabulous day - it was just a small wedding, us, our parents and our best friends (it's because of them that we met in the first place)

I've never wanted a big wedding (my family story is a bit like an episode of Jeremy Kyle  ) and my husband :D has been married before, hence we kept it low key. It was exactly how I wanted it, and sorry to be cheesy, but it really was the happiest day of my life

We're going to have a huge party in August to celebrate both the wedding and the baby to placate our grumbling aunties!

Oh, and I keep forgetting what I'm saying halfway through a sentence too - it's really frustrating, but my OH thinks it's hilarious...

I keep doing that at work - it's not going down well! Oh well, like I care at the moment

That's not cheesy at all, my wedding was the happiest day of my life too - everyone said I didn't stop smiling all day - I must have looked like a maniac!

Are you having a honeymoon? Oh it's so exciting

Well, we run our own business, which makes getting away difficult, but hopefully we can arrange some cover and get a week away some time next month (before I get too big to travel  )

Which reminds me - I need to get my passport renewed - I managed to time getting married with when my passport runs out anyway, which will save me a few quid... assuming I remember to do it of course!

i went to walk my dog but forgot the dog, i got to the end of the yard and thought, hmm where am i going, oh yes walking the dog, the poor lad was just stood by the door looking all confused when i went back for him :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i left the gas hob on 2 (after making a bacon sanwich hehe)...good job oh went home and smelt gas and turned it off!!

Hey ladies,

Well firstly hello second tri as this is my first posting since moving into this group!

Secondly, I totally agree... I had to read something out today in my pregnancy risk assessment and I confusedly asked 'why would I drive university buses?!' only to be told 'it says driving university business!'.....I went so red and embarrassed. Thank God I've got the hormones to blame haha x x x

Oh I'm rubbish atm, cant even string a sentence together without using the wrong word and getting tongue tied. I've also left the hob on a couple of times, for a few hours though not over night.

Mama 2 Be, the comment about the creme egg and your work colleague made me laugh. I Suggest you get a job lot of them and line them up along your desk at work (assuming you sit at a desk) and give her something to talk about!
